Outdoor Recreation
Seven lakes provide fishing, boating, skiing, kayaking, and swimming opportunities. Loch Lomond has ample room for skiing in its main channel as well as secluded coves for anglers in search of largemouth bass. It’s the only lake with a full-service marina. Lake Avalon is the largest of Bella Vista’s “no wake” lakes and has a large sandy beach with a swim area, beach volleyball courts, paddle board and kayak rentals and a small concessions stand. Lake Norwood is the most accessible and popular for picnics on tables overlooking the water. Lake Windsor at 220 acres is also popular for skiing.
Centered in the heart of the Ozarks, Bella Vista offers some of the most beautiful golf courses in the Midwest. Golfers of all skill levels can enjoy five 18-hole courses and two 9-hole courses that feature elevated greens, intertwining streams of water, pro-style features, and gorgeous rolling terrain. Many of the golf courses also include Pro Shops, putting greens and a great selection of drinks and food after your round. Enjoy the fairways below!
